Link Building Services

Our unique Link Building Services utilize techniques that will dramatically boost your link popularity with the minimum outlay and time.

Link popularity is used by the top search engines, as part of their alogrythm, to estimate the relevance of a website for search results. The engines use the total number of external links to your site (called inbound links) to provide an estimate of the quality of the site itself. This is based on the theory that the more pages that link to a site, the better that site must be. Therefore it is important to have a large number of links to your website, but only if they are "QUALITY" links. The links should be in a related category to your site, and have a high "PR" value (Page Rank) to be of optimum value.

Our link popularity program includes:

  • Link Popularity analysis on your main competitors to establish link density for the promotion campaign.
  • Building of social pages on Squidoo and Hub Pages to referrer to your website.
  • Quality article directory submission with link back to you website.
  • Approach bloggers in our network of contact to review your product or service with link back to your website.
  • 3 way Link exchange proposals sent to highly relevant sites each month, to ensure a steady build up of quality links.
  • Submission of your website to high quality free web directories and paid directories.

Link Density

Originally, "link popularity" was simply based upon how many websites linked to yours, known as the link density. The method was first introduced by Google as a measure of how popular a site is. However, it quickly became obvious that this was not accurate enough in itself - extremely popular sites such as Amazon were dominating the listings, even for searches where Amazon is largely irrelevant.

Link Context Sensitivity

The current generation of "link popularity" is much more sensitive to the context in which the site is listed. In theory, link popularity now takes into consideration:

  • The theme of sites linking to yours - your site is judged by the type of site linking to yours, and whether it is relevant to the theme of your site. The more relevant sites, the better.
  • How those sites link to yours - they look at the words used in the link to your site; the more relevant keyword phrases, the better.
  • The link popularity of sites linking to yours - A "popular" (judged by link popularity) site linking to yours is significantly more important than unpopular sites. Thus a link from Yahoo counts for a lot.

One common problem with link popularity building schemes is that they do not take into account the lack of "spidering" depth of the engines. Many engines now cannot cope with the size of the Internet, and so do not visit and index every page of a site. This means that pages containing links to your site may often be left unindexed. Therefore, the link to your site is never recorded, and the engines don't know about it, and thus can't factor it in to their calculations.

The obvious result is that while sites may be building up a large number of links from other sites, only a small percentage of these are naturally recorded by the engines. This is why our link popularity building efforts are designed to ensure that every link to your site is recorded and visited by the main engines.

Why is link popularity important?

Targeting Key Phrases

The text used to link to your site is also extremely important, and by targeting keyword phrases within the link text, this significantly increases the ‘relevancy’ of your site for your chosen phrases and boosts your relevancy and placement for them.

Full indexing

Link popularity also encourages full indexing of sites. Often sites will find that only a handful of the pages of a site have been indexed by the engine spiders. This is because the engines try to economize on the number of pages that they have to store, and less popular sites/pages suffer. By increasing your link popularity you can ensure that all your important pages are indexed.
